I admit, I love baked goods. I’m not too picky either- brownies, bagels, cupcakes, cookies (especially cookies) and muffins- I love them all!
I believe it’s okay to eat almost anything as long as it is done in moderation. I don’t know if I would be a very pleasant person if I couldn’t eat my favorite treats. One of my favorite things to whip up for my family is banana bread muffins. This is my go-to recipe when I need to bring something to brunch, or when we have family or friends coming over to visit. I promise you– everyone loves them- even those who don’t typically like banana bread!
My two daughters love to help me when I make these. This is a great beginners recipe that is easy enough for children to help with. Whether they are measuring out ingredients or scooping batter into the tins- little ones really can help in the kitchen!
One of the things I love about them is how moist and flavorful they are. Plus, because of the substitutions I use- they are “better for you” than your typical banana bread recipe.
These are so easy and fast to make- so grab a few ripe bananas and get baking!

I hope your family loves these just as much as mine does- it truly is one of our favorites and I hope it becomes a staple in your family as well.
I was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado but now call Bountiful, Utah home. I am blessed to have a wonderful husband (we met on a blind date!) and two beautiful daughters. I get to be a stay-at-home mom which I love. I’m also a Netflix binge watcher and an avid reader. I love shopping at Target, dark chocolate and spending time with our friends and family. Surviving the Columbine High School shooting as a teenager , battling infertility as an adult and knowing I am a daughter of God has helped me to look for the good in the world and focus on the tender mercies in my life. My passion is writing and sharing my heart and soul with others.
