Moroni 7:41
And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise.
Christmas time is always one of deep reflection for me.
A time to sit and ponder the promises and blessings that the Lord has given us,
and that he will continue to give us through our faith.
One of the greatest gifts the Lord gave us is the ability to have faith. And with faith comes the companion gift of Hope.
Moroni 7:42
Wherefore, if a man have faith he must needs have hope; for without faith there cannot be any hope.
I encourage us each to take a moment today, on this first Sunday of Advent,
to give thanks in prayer to the Lord for the blessing and gifts of faith and hope in our lives.
